3. Global warming has been the most controversial topic in the
recent years because of its direct impacts on our lives, therefore, there is a
great number of follow-up theories about its causes. The first and the most
popular one is the belief that it is human beings who are destroying the Earth.
According to NASA, a research conducted by 1,300 independent scientific experts
all over the world concluded that: there is a more than 95 percent probability that
human activities over the past 50 years have warmed our planet. Secondly,
a smaller number of people prefer to link the changes in climate with natural
sources. Some examples for these would be water vapor, carbon dioxide or
methane since on the condition that human beings exist or not, they are still
active. However, from my perspective, all the climatic consequences are
attributable to man’s actions, because not only have we depleted Earth’s resources,
but we have also increased the rate of which the planet destroys itself.
