What are float and Account Payable?

Float is the difference between the corporation’s recorded amount and the amount credited to the corporation by the bank

Accounts payable (AP) is money own by a business to its supplier shown as a liability on a company’s balance sheet. It is distinct from notes payableliabilities, which are debts created by formal legal instrument documents.
