According to eatingwell.com and many other vegan websites, there are various meat substitutes from plants that help people start a meat-free diet healthily. For instance, protein is one crucial element to repair and build the body's cells, which you can easily find in tofu and nuts. Some of meat-minerals, such as calcium or iron, can also be found in plant-based foods like broccoli and mushroom. In order to meet our nutritional needs for a day, we must enrich our knowledge of nutrition and plan our diets carefully, especially once we remove meat from daily meals.
I choose question 1.
I think we can use bottles, paper boxes to recycle into household items: vases, bookshelves, decorations, toys such as lanterns, dollies,...
Using papers, cloths to make handmade something include flowers, handkerchiefs, cup holders and give friends or even sell.
Making pots to grow green vegetables.
Pieces of broken glass can make pictures or consider brick decorating walls in houses.
I answer for question 1
I think our goverment should devide garbage into small groups like garbage can recycle or garbage use one time and so on. The goverment should encourgae people to use recycle things than throw them away. The goverment should have a law to penalty people who don't follow their instruction, prevent the local people from throwing away the trash in the street and organize one day to collect all the trash on the beach, in the street and so on. These are one of the best ways to maintain the human living enviroment.
3. Which is more important: increasing people's standard of living or protecting the environment?
From my perspective, I think that protecting the environment is also an effective way to improve standard of living, particularly the life's environment around us. But if the question implies to make a choice when both are extreme and opposite, then I think I will choose a balance between that. The more civilized people become, the more attention they have to life's problems. But first we need to understand that we cannot control the environment, we can only improve our life to be cleaner and healthier. So I will still choose a good standard of living and control it to be friendly with the environment.
2. Some people don't eat meat because they believe meat production is bad for the environment. What are some things that people eat as substitutes for meat?
_ We can help protect animal habitats in many ways. For example, in addition to meat, we can eat many other foods but still ensure enough nutrients and protein like meat. First of all, almonds, cashews, chestnuts and pecans are easy to eat and high in protein. We can also eat American tofu or corn instead of meat. Soy milk is the top of the list for nutritious drinks. Mushrooms can also be a substitute for meat, according to an online report, "A bowl of mushrooms can bring you 3.9g of extra protein" and with the delicious and sweet taste, the mushrooms must lie in this list.
3.
In my opinion, protecting the environment is more important than increasing people's standard of living. If you want to live a better, healthier life, you have to protect the environment. For instance, many high-class residential areas have been built nowadays for a higher standard of living, but they occupied the "nature green carpet". This can lead to air pollution right there, where you think it is a higher standard of life. All we need to do now are protect and regenerate the environment before it's too late.
Which is more important: increasing people's standard of living or protecting the environment?
In my opinion, it would be so great to maintain a good life with all the best standards. But somehow we do not need such luxuries to get a perfect life, as there is some minimalism - followers out there. We only need to be happy and joyful after all. So people's standard of living may not be very necessary as we all find our ways to live happily, that is how we choose to react to our fates. But the environment is different. Mother nature now has been affected by the humans, she can not do anything when humans pollute her own environment, she can not choose how to live. Furthermore, an average person may live to about 60 years old but the mother nature is ever-lasting. While taking advantage from her source, people really need to learn how to protect her.
1. Globally, humans produce billions of tons of garbage every year. What are some ways you can offset your own production of garbage?
Replacing plastic with eco-friendly products is an effective way to offset production of garbage. Eco-friendly products are products that do not harm to the environment. They help people in many ways such as minimizing carbon footprint, decreasing emission of greenhouse gases,... Moreover, using eco-friendly products means to save money. Some of them can be reused and recycled, save energy. The habit of using plastic products is becoming out of control. Thus, replacing plastic with eco-friendly products can improve quality of life, give us a healthier planet.
3. Which is more important: increasing people's standard of living or protecting the environment?
In my opinion, which may different from the others, neither of the two things above are more important. They are both necessary part of the same thing, running parallel to make people’s life better. By protecting the environment, people can increase their living standard with fresh air and healthy products which helps to decrease the negative health effects from pollutants. Another thing that we need to focus on is finding a solution to improve the living standard of poor people, especially people who live in the rural area, so that they can stop making their living by destroying the forest. In conclusion, if people are more aware of the importance in balancing between these two things, there will surely be a brighter future for all of us.
I choose question 2.
People who don't eat meat are people who lead a simple and healthy lifestyle. In my point of view, they believe meat production is bad for the environment because according to a study published in Nature Climate Change, eating less meat may help reduce greenhouse gas emissions. Somethings as substitutes for meat are vegetables, tubers, fruits or foods that also contain protein made from soy ... because we always need protein to get enough energy for a long day. In addition, eating vegetables regularly will be good for the digestive system. That means the body will be healthier and work more effectively.
3. Which is more important: increasing people's standard of living or protecting the environment?
In my opinion, protecting the environment is more important than increasing people's standard of living. People are covered by the environment and depend on the environment for living. In the past, when the standard of living was not high, human still lived thanks to the natural environment. And in the future, if the environment was destroyed, increasing people’s standard of living would be useless. For example, people can not live well with polluted air, toxic water or chemical plants. Increasing standard of living does not give people life, it just makes us feel happier and more comfortable. In contrast, the environment will help us survive permanently, if we have awareness of its importance and find out solutions to protect.
3. In my opinion, protecting the environment is more important than increasing people's standard of living. People are living depends on the environment so if they want to have a best standard of living then they have to know how to protect the environment and make the environment cleaner and healthier for their lives. For instance, they need oxygen for breathing but there are no more trees to release those oxygen and the atmosphere is polluted, this can not make people improve their standard of living. So that is the reason why people should protect the environment to increase their standard of living.
1.
In these days, people are more concern about the effect of waste produced by mankind. That's why there are various ways to reduce them. In my family, we replace plastic water bottle with the reusable one. It was not only helped us cut down a huge number of plasic bottle but it also preserved money. Other than that, instead of asking for a plastic bag every time we go to the market, we bring our own casava bags which are environmental friendly and can be used many times before broken. After all, reduce trash leads us to a better life- a green life.
3. Which is more important: increasing people's standard of living or protecting the environment?
Personally, I think protecting the environment is more important than increasing people's standard. I simply think things that belong to perception are easier to improve than things that belong to wealth. Furthermore, protecting the environment is a great job to help not only us but also the future generations - the heirs inherit this planet. After all, I still think protect the environment is the best way to increase people's standard of living.
